Parramatta Eels forward Wiremu Greig has reportedly been offered to several other teams as he looks to secure a new deal to continue his rugby league playing career.

Under coach Jason Ryles, the Parramatta Eels have been ushered into a new era and have already made several changes to their roster as they prepare for next season and the future.

Should we make a play? What money is he on? ... always thought he looked like he would go okay.

I had to look up who he is TBH.

Why would we sign a bloke that has cracked a monstrous 27 FG games in 4 years?

Need more quicks in the middle - I find Greig is a poor mans Sipley and follows the worst area of the Manly game today....mobility and agility through that middle....reasonable NSW cup depth and there are worse options, but I can't see it

Ryles prefers Jack Williams at prop, who was a second rower at Sharks. This is the way the prop position is going.
Still a place in the game for a traditional big man up front, but I don't think we have a vacancy for that type currently (even with rumours of Toff to the the UK next year)

Yeah the place for a real big man has been cut in half. gone from 2 starting, 2 on the bench' 2 -4 ready to go in reserves.

Now one of each with may be 2 in ressies if the coach is that way inclined.

The way the game is played now only the cream of the crop of the really big men will make it. They will still have to have fitness and leg speed on their side. This bloke has neither.
