Wolfman hoping for new Manly NRL deal

We forget how good Bani was at times. The injury killed his career and he never really got back. Farrar is nice and consistent, nothing flash but a guy you wouldn't know if he played for us or not.

For those questioning the Wolfs worth, remember he is the bloke that replaced.........Bani.

For that we will be forever in his debt!!!!!

Bani was going great guns until he got injured and gave The Wolfman the chance.

He was never the same after that injury

It was actually Ben Farrar that we got as a swap for Bani.

That's true, but Wolfie got his start by taking Bani's spot. He was later traded for Ben Farrar.

Bani's debut in the 07 Prelim final was outstanding, as were his 1st 5 weeks of 2008 before injury got him and he was never the same after that
Bani debuted in round 24 that year.

Looking at the team list from that link, after 5 years, only Killer, Choc, Kingy and Vic Mauro are still with us.

Maybe just that game but we still had Stewarts (x2), Kite, Ballin, Rose and Matai during that season as well.

Don't think any other club can boast maintaining a core of 10 players over the course of 5 years, particularly a successful group.

Really ? I knew plenty about Farrar when he was playing at the Cowboys

Premiership winning side right there!

Sorry to get off topic but hopefully there's something for wolfie to stay.

Current top try scorer for Manly (this season) and a great marketing guy to boot.

Just watched his interview with snake re the diabetes jerseys.

Funny guys.

*fingers crossed!

I was only talking about that team list in that link 🙂

Looking at the numbering of the players you could see that there were numerous regulars not playing in that game.
