On current estimates, it looks like whoever gets the spoon will end up with 7 or 8 wins. Tonight's result, and presumably at least one more win this season, will put us beyond any likely chance of a spoon.

The thirty minutes I was able to see tonight were insanely bad. I don't think this is the return to form we were looking for... DCE is still playing terribly. It'll be a poor season, but not horrendous.

Will be horrendous. Just not wooden spoon. There are plenty of spoonbowl contenders.

Manly are getting the spoon and the coach sucks, the players are sh!t and we couldn't recruit a loaf of stale brown bread.

Yet we are in front of Cronulla who I'm told has a better coach, better players (including AFB) and a better coach. And oh, they have beat us twice this year.

We are **** , but let’s face it there’s a few others too.

We just keep winning the occasional game which makes us look less ****.

F me things will get worse for them next year when they apparently hope that Dylan Brown will steer them around the park and guide the team.....and BTW, I don't know when the big event will be but imagine what a circus the next Ponga negotiations will be!! He will likely argue with some justification that if a plank like DB is worth $1.4m per year then he must be worth $2m per year! Honestly this DB thing is one of the dumbest signings you could imagine.

Yep, even if we beat 2 of those spoon teams we will be in the semis.

Interesting, Ryles has done more positives in one year than someone else we know in 3 years. Any guesses?
