They beat Vanuatu 38-0 yesterday in very slippery conditions. The rain didn't help either. So perhaps they've showed enough that they can avoid going to the finals via their traditional backdoor route.

Got to hand it the Russians. The Serbian Coach who is an Aussie and their Australian born players ( 3 I think) were refused Visas and obviously, could not play.

Five spots left, 2 spots to go to the top two out of Spain, Ireland & Italy, 2 spots to go to the top two out of Scotland, Russian and the winner of Greece & Norway and 1 spot to the winner of USA & an Asia Pacific team.
Interest is at an unheard of level.
Final spots will be determined by November this year.
