Shoulders was quicker than Kelly .
There is no substitute for speed .

I must agree that Kelly lacks genuine speed....but he has great deception and explosive speed...can beat a player with evasion and a 10 metre burst.
Wright played solid on Sat and deserves credit, but I don't think he is any faster than Kelly - in fact - with that explosive speed - not as quick or agile.
What I like with Kelly we are talking about a raw player in his first season...has shown toughness and is willing to make ugly hitups, reads the game well and passes to those in a better position and tackles well bar 1-2 games where his edge defenders left him stranded also.

Wright was solid v titians no doubt but BK is good. Regarding the kicking we have Api, Walker and DCE who are ok and would be better with instruction ... also I heard we have signed a guy from the roosters or something who can kick? Not sure but I think I saw him in an Eagles jersey down the steyne... Kevin Hastings II or something?

He hasn't been average. He's represented country, since the start of the year. He's won us games. He is far from average. His speed is fine, hed be one of the fastest centres in the comp. His defence isnt amazing just yet but it's not bad. He's building very nicely.

Whilst I agree with your sentiments,I wouldn't be pulling out the Country card as base for your argument

Kelly's footwork is amazing to watch. He just looks so balanced all the time.

The only reason I can think of is that he may not be adjusting to life in the big smoke?
His centre play has actually been very good, in fact Barrett gave him a wrap just yesterday on radio, 'our centres have been good', that's what he said!
