Not defending Seibold but I believe he is at best just a contributor in our recruitment strategy. If there is an issue the buck stops with Mestrov who heads up our strategy.

Roosters just rolled out a pack containing a bunch young blokes with under 10-15 games experience, including one on debut. Proceeded to roll the Sharks and their forwards who we’ve been incapable of beating in recent years.

We surely have some younger forwards worth playing. Patolo, Pua’Avase, Sykes, Dunford I don’t really care who. The best we’re getting at the moment is 10 minutes of Navale and he wouldn’t even be there if Seibold had his way. Pretty clear to everyone but the coaching genius that we need to change things up but he’s too scared of taking any sort of risks.

Developing juniors is no guarantee to keeping them. Look what happened to Latu, we signed him up at 300k a season for 3yrs that's 900k as a 16yr old, all for nothing in the end. Developing jnrs, I take it with a grain salt.

Seibold must stop picking players like Waddell, Brown and Croker on the bench. They are too slow and offer nothing to the team when picked together. I would run with something like this.

We didn't lose the Fainu brothers, we sold them in the Mestrov vs Tartak and support Moses cartel.
We instead buy clapped out old forwards who ultimately are useless and send our club backwards.

We need a coach that can actually develop young players to be the best they can be. Seibold is not that coach.

Just because we have reserve graders doesn't mean they are on the same level as the Roosters. This is a long term problem with our junior development... We haven't produced a prop since Jake Trbojevic, and Western Sydney didn't get us a middle either. Thinking Patolo/Sykes/Dunford are on the level of the Va'a's is stupid. Those are well and truly reserve graders at best.

This is down to Penn's cheapskate management. The Roosters have a smaller junior pool and yet they develop more NRL-ready players FFS.
