    If nothing is announced by mid afternoon we aren't getting anyone which is looking likely. There doesn't seem to a lot of moment at most clubs and presume clubs have to 5pm Monday to lodge a contract. I don't see any club waiting that late in the day.

    The salary cap is easy to cheat. I don't know if a draft would help but I would prefer to see a points cap system with players worth X points depending on if they are rep players, true local juniors, developed by clubs etc. You can pay a player $5,000,000 or $500,000 but their points value stays...

    I don't see us signing anyone unless they are stuck in NSW cup and looking to cement a NRL spot. We are a basket case and will struggle to sign anyone unless we pay overs, especially the last 2 months. If we were trying to sign Fogerty now he would seriously weighing up offers elsewhere.

    I think he missed the boat on getting a good offer. Wasn't he offered decent coin when we were a top 8 side regularly, the way we have been the last 5 years the value would be half of that. Teams that finish in the top 4 constantly bring in lots of sponsorship dollars increasing the their value.
