    I get the impression Barrett is picking the team to keep Bozo happy. Choosing Bozo's new recruits (even reserve graders) before established Manly players who have played together and deserve a spot. Let's not forget Bozo is running the show. And Barrett's his boy.

    Manly round 1 has resulted in all grades being smashed. Manly scored a total of 24 points in the three grades. The opposing teams 102. First Grade 28-6 loss. NSW Cup 34-16 loss. Holden Cup 40-12 loss. At least we are consistent.

    The Liam Knight story is true. Basically the club can't make him an offer because they haven't been able to get rid of the players they thought they could, having spent big on new recruits. Several clubs chasing Knight. I real shame because the kid is good.

    I'm beginning to fear that Zorba, with his ambition and contacts, sees himself as Director of Propaganda and Fibs working with his buddy Dean 'wadever-yusay-zorb' Ritchie. Pity the poor current media guy who I suspect won't last long. Figure he'll be on Zorba's new hit list.
