Next season the NRL is, apparently, introducing a shot clock for goal kick attempts.
How do you reckon that would have worked out last night with the Thurston 85th minute conversion attempt to win the match?

It was a bit of a circus wasn't it?Cameramen, officials, random ground staff all crowding him prior. I was wondering about a shot clock, I thought one already existed?

A bit like robbo's final kick in the 2011 GF. People everywhere. Although 9 scarcely even covered it because the game was won.

I feel that JT will retire after a few weeks of well earned celebrations.

Did you notice how the Ref made JT move the kicking tee out about 15cm prior to his kick. If he had been allowed to kick from the original position the ball would have gone through the posts.
