This part surprises me,why would we splash "big dollars"?

Would anyone say Jason King was on "big dollars"?

I wouldn't and I don't reckon Mateo would be getting what King was surely.
If Mason comes too he'd be on less again but would have his topped up by TPA's.

Backwards in ability ? Choc is as tough as Mason Vave and Tetevano but what ball skills did he possess ? Mateo is right up there with Glenn in the skill department . Mateo on his day is a freak !

I don't think you could honestly say that about Gifty. In the last couple of seasons he was injured more than he wasn't. That is not stronger and more consistent no matter how you try to justify it.

We will not miss Choc carrying our pack next year with the edition of heavyweights Mason, Vave ,Tetevano and Mateo . Four for the price of one is great value
I would have loved to see Gift and Choc play out their careers with the mighty Sea eagles but our great club has always evolved into greatness every time we lost great players and we should all be very optimistic for 2015 and beyond

45 games in the past three years out of 79.
Whats that? Approx 55% of games played.

Yep, he's a great player but when it comes to $$ and % of salary cap it wasn't a harsh decision. We've got to play Moneyball better than most and if it comes down that then so be it.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to keep them all ( how long before I remove Choc from my screensaver? ) but tough decisions have to be made by guys whose careers and the success and future of the club are dependent on.

ps - In the Moneyball ( ie Supecoach stakes ), Mateo has been pretty useful.
