The Captain's challenge has me confused. Team 'A' challenges a knock-on ruling. The Clunker agrees, there is a knock-on, however, he/she spots a Team 'B' player offside/picking his nose/plaiting his hair... something totally unrelated to the challenge, and awards Team 'A' a penalty.
How is this justice?
In a court of law you (Team 'B') are judged purely on the charge brought by the prosecution (Team 'A'). If it is not proven then Team 'B' is found not guilty.
For me, the Captain's Challenge has not been a success. It gives The Clunker yet another chance to stuff up our sport.

You are almost spot on, except for the final analysis, where by what it effectively does, is give the Clunker yet another opportunity to manipulate the outcome, remember, always gamble responsibly…….

I know it takes more than just one poor bomb diffusing attempt to lose a game ... but for someone who is supposed to be one of the elite fullbacks in the NRL, that was a very poor attempt by Hammer at the end.

Given less than a minute to go and 20 metres out it was worthy of a week in Reggie’s, he didn’t put much effort into that game, even the try he scored he just jogged it in without trying to get closer to the posts - it was converted so it didn’t matter but little effort.

TBH I think when Cleary announced he was resting his Origin stars, subconsciously the Warriors players probably thought it was going to be a much easier night out for them.
