Going off what Cleary has said, I think he wants to use the last game to regain some momentum leading into the finals, rather than entering the finals off a “bye”.

Yeah, they can work on specific things at training when they've had a freshen up, chances are a lot of their top 17 may have been missing chunks of training with niggling injuries or the like.

They've effectively been playing knock out footy for the past 3 months.

So far tonight I've counted 6 forward passes from Galvin.

None called. Not even on the obvious one for Curran's break and Galvin's try.

The ref has been pretty Doggie-happy tonight… as if they need the extra help. He even brought back the roll ball rule against the pennies, and then ignored the Doggie doing one two plays later 🤣

And on cue, the ref ignores a 4 man strip against the pennies 🤷‍♂️🤣
