I`m still disappointed we let him go.
But the way these last 7weeks have been with all the **** going on , this bit of news is just another kick in the guts for Manly if it`s true..can`t be helped ,we can`t do nothing about it just have to accept it..

Who cares is how I will cope. This is a Manly site, and I have zero interest in Parramatta, their current/past/future players, their coach, their CEO, their off field problems.

As soon as I read or see anything blue and yellow in combination, my eyes glaze over as they do when the wife bangs on about me leaving my clothes on the floor in the bathroom.

IF, he started working here again, I'd debate the topic (pro's / con's).

Hopefully that answers your question. It WAS a question wasn't it, or are you trying to say something subliminal here that I don't understand?

EDIT: As tough as everyone is being on Perry, they are being so because he has had to make some very tough calls. I personally think he has the appropriate business acumen to turn around the profit and loss for this team, but again, that's just one nobody's opinion.

I have to agree with Ryan on this one. I think Perry will turn out to be very good for us financially. Remember that the sponsors werent exactly kicking the door down when Mayer was here nor did he organise an off site brooky oval experience for the 08 Final. Of all the mud that has been slung in the last couple of months I think Perry didnt deserve his share he has done some pretty positive things since he has been around i think we should wait and see. Mayer couldnt have done much at GWS then if he is going to Parra.

Time has moved on but it was a debacle at the time when Mayer was basically forced to leave due to factional trouble at Manly. People all have their beliefs about sponsorship etc but time would show Mayer to be one of the smarter adminstrators - though it seems he didn't suck up to the right people in the club.

Over it now, though the last six months has hardly been better. The rot has to stop somewhere and so will I.

Perry's team has left Mayer & co behind in professionalism and creativity shown with the last 6 mths initiatives in membership and marketing/products.

Perry still probably on training wheels but despite early wobbles is doing fine IMO

Wasn't a real fan of Mayer to be honest. Didn't like a couple of things he did, couldn't land a replacement for BK despite having plenty of cash and trying to get everyone available. He also tried to play a few media games prior to few games against other CEOs (most notably and strangely enough against the Dogs) and on each occasion it blew up in our faces.

It just seemed to me on a few occasions he was a bit more interested in promoting himself than the club.
