Yer, I don’t think the US trip was a good thing, he come back leaned off, with too many noises in his head, don’t think trying to change his running gate was a very positive thing either.

I’d just like to see Tom forget it all, bulk back up, come back next year and play footy. If it’s meant to be, it will be, if the body breaks or let’s him down again it’s probably over anyway.
Yep it just seemed like when he came back from the US he had bees buzzing in his head. He didn't seem to enjoy his footy this year which was also sad to see.

Inside Manly Sea Eagles’ surprise roster shake-up

The Sea Eagles are in the midst of a roster shake-up. Find out which contracted players could be on the way out and who has re-signed.

Manly’s season may have just ended but their roster shake-up has already begun with five contracted players told they are free to leave the club.
It is understood Ben Condon, Kaeo Weekes, Zac Fulton, Kelma Tuilagi and Karl Lawton have had talks with the club and will be able to leave if they find better offers elsewhere.

None of the players are being forced out and, if they cannot secure a better deal at rival clubs, they will report to Sea Eagles pre-season training in November.

The Sea Eagles do not need to move any players on because of salary cap constraints, instead it is about getting a better-balanced roster.

Despite having not announced new deals, it can be revealed that Raymond Vaega, Ethan Bullemor, Jamie Humphreys and Gordon Chan Kum Tong have all re-signed for next season and have spots in the top 30.

Manly also want to upgrade and extend boom back-rower Haumole Olaka’uatu.

Brad Parker is off-contract but he will be the first player to be given a top-30 deal if a spot becomes available. The Sea Eagles also want to give Matt Lodge a contract for next season.

Lodge is expected to come into the top 30 at some point next season despite a long stint on the sidelines after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament.

Veteran prop Aaron Woods is another player the Sea Eagles would consider keeping next year.

Tuilagi and Weekes have been given permission to talk to other clubs to push for regular first-grade opportunities.
Tuilagi has completed just one season of a three-year contract. The back-rower is expected to attract plenty of interest in the open market given he has been a mainstay in the past two seasons at the Tigers and Manly.
Weekes only re-signed for a further 12 months earlier this year.
Manly’s desire to tie down Olakau’atu and the impending positional switch of Josh Schuster to the second row could result in Tuilagi leaving. Ben Trbojevic was also favoured in the back row in the latter stages of the season.

Lawton is recovering from shoulder surgery which may delay his exit from the club, although he has attracted interest from UK Super League clubs. The Sea Eagles have agreed to allow Lawton to leave if he can secure a multi-year deal in England.

Condon has played just four games since joining the club last year while Fulton has featured in just one game – the pride jersey fiasco clash last season and is well down on the pecking order

The Sea Eagles failed to make the finals but finished the season with strong back-to-back wins against Canterbury (42-24) and the Tigers (54-12).

Manly have signed Tigers pair Luke Brooks and Tommy Talau, and Sydney Roosters winger Jaxson Paulo for next season.

Kelma Tuilagi off to Parramatta. Good move from the club TBH.

Hope he goes well for Parra, wasn't the right fit for us.
Wow, looks like there was no messing around there, made the call and deal done.
Not really surprised he's found a new club, I know plenty don't rate him but I think he does have some ability.
I expect Schu's relegation from 5/8 sealed Tui's fate at Manly, and I too wish him well for the future.

Forward reportedly leaves Manly for new opportunity

The Parramatta Eels have reportedly added Manly Sea Eagles forward Kelma Tuilagi to their roster for next season to improve their forward stocks.

The Samoan international joined the Manly Sea Eagles earlier this year after a two-year stint with the Wests Tigers and appeared in 17 games for the club this season and was used in the starting second row in all but two of his games this season.

Kelma Tuilagi will now join the Parramatta Eels effective immediately, per The Daily Telegraph. This means he has secured a release for the final two seasons of his Manly contract to play under Brad Arthur at the Eels on a two-year contract.

Tuilagi's move away from the Sea Eagles is likely to create more salary cap space at the club after they recently re-signed Josh Schuster on $800,000 a season and are set to offer Haumole Olakau'atu a multi-million dollar deal to lock down his long-term future.

At the Eels, he will provide great forward depth and could even see himself making his way into the starting back row, as Shaun Lane is the only likely candidate to have a guaranteed starting spot in the team.

He showed glimpses of talent but it was fleeting.

Not a first grader in my opinion.

I was sick of Tuilagi missing tackles and even when he made a tackle it was a grab and arms with no shoulder, allowing even players half his size to win the contact and momentum....great out imo. Not sold on this Twal stuff, but that other young Tiger prop has some toughness and ability as a middle in the modern game (off the bench) and may suprise.....Condon needs to be sent back Nth to Qld Cup and we are moving out some playes who been major contributers to mediocrity in recent times, so pretty happy with "most" of this stuff.
Also think Talau may be far better than expected and challenge for NRL and Paulo is decent depth in the outside backs..
