It is the fact that we lose Hiku, Gutherson, Symonds, Ballin and Bhurer and replace them with brown, Willaime, Wright and Wright. Not to mention Myles

Our recruitment is ****ed and so are the dickheads running this club
Yes, please don't mention Myles.

Wooden spoon isn't a possibility while Newcastle are in the comp.
This is the best you've got?

This statement, young misguided Turbo, tells you exactly how much we are no longer Manly, and why so many decades long supporters are very upset.

We're only the second worst? Woohoo! Break out the champagne!!

Mark my words we are heading for a wooden spoon in 2017 unless Newcastle happen to really be worse than what they were this year, which I doubt they will be.

TBH there's a lot to admire about the way Newcastle are rebuilding. A big part of their issue this year was that they were forced to throw a number of their promising juniors in at the deep end a year or two too early, but if they hang onto those guys - which they seem keen to do - that extra experience will help them in the long run.

And if they're looking to offload useless players and replace them with quality like Buhrer...well, who's doing a good job of running their club? It ain't our management, if they're prepared to accept sh*t in return for gold...

Yes we all laugh at drugcastle now but they may well be laughing at us in the near future.

Buhrer will be one of the toughest to take in terms of players being cut.

I was filthy with Ballin, was disappointed losing Hiku, p*ssed off losing Gutho but flicking buhrer will be the worst.

I just can't understand their reasoning and shows to me they have no idea.

The sad thing is you can't even complain to them as we're irrelevant!

I'll have a soft spot for Newcastle and hope Jamie does well, as I suspect he will.

As for our management & owners, LIFT YOUR GAME! @

Is this a fact yet or still in the rumour mill?
I will be very sad if Jamie leaves. He's a player who always shakes hands with fans at the end of wins. He's played his guts out and loves our club.
If he's leaving hopefully he'll get a decent pay packet and I'll always support this player.
What's hard for us fans to take is the loyalty between clubs and players has been broken. Politics rule many decisions. Contracts mean dribble and the amount of journeymen type players is increasing - and sad.
It's probably why opposition players are all so friendly to each other these days, a lot of them have played together at some time in their careers.
All clubs except for those with questionable caps - storm, cows, donkeys, dogs, are constantly turning over rosters.
What's happening in our game seems like putting a player jigsaw puzzle to win a Premiership. In our last game this year I hardly knew who we had on the field. It's not necessarily the culture of individual clubs shifting it's the culture of the game.
In saying that I hate what's happening at our club for the past few years. Some disgraceful decisions have been made, the worst being Tooves.
I support the Sea Eagles as long a we exist but I shake my head at what's going on at the moment, not only at our club but in the game.

Look every thing went wrong when Myles was signed, Lets behead him...
No everything went wrong when Fulton negotiated Cherry-Evan's long term deal for a lot longer and a lot more than he was previously prepared to accept because they were throwing everything at Foran as he was their proprity.

The club would have been the only people not to know that foran had already gone to parra

DCE should have been let go. He isnt worth $600k let alone $1mil.

Walker and Myles should never have been signed either imo. One over the hill and one with massive baggage.

All 3 mentioned above could be ruled out with our No Dickhead Policy anyway.

We then keep, Hiku, Ballin and Gutho and maybe others like JSL, Symonds, Horo, Lui and MCK

They then should have chased either of Seizer, Elgey or Maloney and thrown the kitchen sink at Cooper Cronk.

DCE should not have been paid that much but was only offered that because we stuffed the first offer. I can't remember what it was but it as a few 100k less per year and was for 4 years.
If we don't retract the original offer we would have him for a lot less.
He is still one of the best halves in the game and someone to build a club around.
So now we just need to stop selling our good young players and stop buying old "has been's".
