Anyone know what was wrong with him?

Club just said 'sick'. Typical great communications from the club.

Sure missed him. He's been one of our best lately and would have plugged the defnce massively as well as made actual breaks. I actually think if he'd played, and Seibold had a clue about the use of Bully and Caleb, we win.

Wishing Burbo a quick recovery
Burbo has his moments . Just wished those moments were more consistent

Burbo is the least of this teams problems. I’ve been critical in the past, mainly due to his discipline and that dopey “what me sir?” Look he gives after piggy backing teams out of their own end. But honestly he’s actually coming along quite well. Defence is solid, can hit a hole, good support player and will continue to improve with age. It just shows what we get when Waddell comes in. Hoping it’s just the flu as we need him next start v broncos.

We need him back. This year we've lost every match that Burbo has missed.
Well yeah.. last night was the first and only game he’s missed.

He had a cracker last week but I’m not quite ready to call him the saviour yet. However when his only replacement is the worst player in the comp in Waddell then Burbo being out will stand out more than usual. I think it just reflects poorly on Seibold and management to go through a whole off season, after losing Lawton, and not bringing another backrower into the squad. Chee Kam doesn’t count because he’s 33, never been any good and seemingly unlikely to play NRL again.

I’ve been critical of him in the past, but he has improved this season. We certainly missed him last night but more so, that we had to play Waddell in his place. That really showed the stark contrast between the two of them.

I’d like to see him playing 30 to 40 minutes and going flat out in that time, than trying to pace himself over the whole 80.

He is still a work in progress. Like Garrick at centre.

Its only been the last month I have seen much in either of them.

Jazz has taken over the locking role and has excelled in that position.

Maybe this year is the making of him becoming a fair dinkum first grader.

Get back to me at the end of the year, but liking what I'm seeing
