We had an issue with background services between march 10th and 15th or there about. This meant the payment services were not linking to automatic upgrades. If you paid for premium membership and are still seeing ads please let me know and the email you used against PayPal and I cam manually verify and upgrade your account.

Apples and pears old son... you drive a new model Night Eagle whilst the bloke next to you drives a 25 year old Camry.... you may be in retirement (I dunno, just an example) whilst old matey has a wife and 5 high-school kids to support...
judging other's 'choices' through the lens of your own experience is pointless...
by all means keep on plugging the club, membership and whatever else you feel passionate about though mate coz I aint trying to stop you, just offering my 2 cents (it's all I can afford)...

I have responded to your different levels of excuses that passionless people use to avoid club membership
Since you want talk about achievements....
Our proud club is the most successful club in the modern era
Because it is the only club to win a premiership every decade since the 70s
Our club is the only club not to disgrace our proud history and humiliate its fans with embarrassing wooden spoons
Our club has won 8 Premierships
Parra has won more wooden spoons 15 than premierships 4
Funny enough we even have a lol parra thread on here .
The fact of the matter is
Manly People have more reason to be proud and passionate club members
But Parra has more passionate fans than us and that is a Disgrace to our fickle fair weather feathered fans !!!

Your facts don't demonstrate what you think they do @BOZO because you have no facts surrounding the overall number of fans for each club and the level of expendable income of the two groups...
You HAVE demonstrated that memberships don't deliver premierships.... so there's that....

The easiest way post loss is to avoid ST for at least 24 hours.
By then most have calmed down and are talking about what we need to change to do better the following week.
I’m going to try and avoid game day threads once we kick off too ( may not succeed) as I often make some regrettable comments in the heat of the battle.
My new year resolution was,
Avoid posting in match day threads during the game.
Avoid coming on immediately after a loss.
Avoid coming on for at least 24 hours after a horrific loss.
I’m sure my blood pressure will thank me.

Well if they weren’t $70 per ticket to sit in the stand I could definitely be going. For myself and my partner to pay $140 for entry alone is a joke. I love Manly and I understand the need to make money on the gate but this is the wrong way to go about it by stinging members and fans alike.

I guess we all got the text message this arvo offering up to 8 reserved seats for the first home game , I’m guessing the strategy must have backfired a bit.
I’m still amazed they didn’t offer the usual members packages but put limits on.
Very easy to offer long term members first dibs and then open up more full packages when the Covid restrictions eased.
I’d love to know the strategy behind what they’ve done.
Has no affect on me personally but gee it’s sad to see the upset long term members out there.
