Sleepy Somber Seibs who desires to study and learn about coaching has not learned anything about the awakening way as he has not woken his players from their inconsistent winning plays in his 3 years at Manly

Ballin is constantly being mentioned BUT he seems very grounded up here , new wife , baby on the way , job with a rich club with the chance of being the “ next up “ at the Broncos.

I somehow think it would be very doubtful.

This is a while back, because it's the BOZO drivel show in this thread right now, but SMH's Chammas said that Ballin had met with Seibold recently (presumably before the game vs Broncos), and quoted Ballin as having said that he "sees his future in Sydney".

From what I can ascertain, it's likely Penn and Mestrov will just blow up the ship again at the end of the year, bring in BA as coach, with Ballin as an assistant. That's the short priced option, I would think. The King for CEO / Ballin for HC is just random drivel, sprouted by those who conveniently forget that Mestrov is a former Sea Eagles player himself.

Unless we miraculously win seven games straight, I think Seibold is a goner, even if we miss the finals on a 12-12 +P/D record.

Yes I think Seibold is on a hiding to nothing , which will make many on here very happy ( short term).

In reality until the roster is fixed even a super coach would struggle with the injuries , age factor.

If the roster doesn’t change ( and let’s say Arthur gets the job ) maybe we should have a bet ( just for fun I’m not a gambler ) on how long until we see the first “ Arthdud” post.

I’d be thinking 4-6 weeks

Even if Ballin did want to come down I doubt he’s ready for a FG coaching position just yet.
