DCE on Sterlo

I would love to have seen this interview and the reaction to it 4 weeks ago, it is amazing what difference a few wins make.

I'm going to guess that there would be some comments along the lines of:

- I hate the way he talks, so measured and robotic.

- sick of hearing the talk, just do it on the field ffs

- less talking and more earning your mill a year

- why don't we give cullen/hastings/api a go at halfback

- sack barrett

Too boring. Would have made a great bit of intrigue if you had led us on with some furphys about number 1's secret identity. Could have had us all going for weeks.
I still don't believe it. It's like the mystery behind the guy who started bitcoin.

I would love lottoland to be a place teams fear to go. I spend so many years up on that hill making noise and so often you could see the teams react to it, both Manly and the opposition. The times I had touch judges and players stick their fingers up at me haha.

But it needs to get back to those days, when lottoland is a fortress and the crowd is there behind the players, its an amazing thing

DCE is a gine ambassador for the club...intelligent and eloquent. ..knows things he might say can be twisted etc...very measured and positive....the guy is the right choice to represent us in the media and lead us on the field.
Don't know about 'gine' lol but certainly impressive. I agree he's articulate and his answers are always measured. Also what I admire about DCE is no matter how much he's hammered by the media, he never appears rattled (or even if he is he doesn't show it!) Always cool calm and collected @
