So we can still make finals - we are a mathematical chance, unless someone can prove otherwise? Everyone saying it's a done deal, when it's not. Now, fully acknowledge the circumstances to make it are 0.001% chance, but still, let's wait to until we lose today to put it to be for good.
Yep we need to either lose or win by a slim margin for our finals hopes to be officially ended. If we win by 30 or 40 then our hopes are in Souths' hands next week.

The comments on ST over the next 6 to 12 months will just be variations of the general themes of the comments below
  • Seibold needs to go and should be replaced by coach XXX
  • Penn sucks ass
  • Our forwards are crap
  • We need to invest and develop youth
  • We need to sign player XXX
  • Urbos are not worth what we are paying
  • We're fxcked 2026 is going to be awful
  • Penn sucks ass
  • Penn sucks ass
  • Seibold needs to go.
Well said

Imagine if we had managed to beat last place, or not throw away a 16 point lead against second last?

These are the questions I stay up at night thinking about.

One thing I do know is today would’ve been a big game, but it’s not so what can ya do. On a positive note, it’s kinda nice watching this team without the stress of results having meaning. Not as painful when you get drawn the 2/10 performance, and a bit of fun when you get drawn the 8/10. Because it truly is always a mystery with this team.

After next week we’ve got about 6 months until we get to cheer this side on again, or complain about the coach. Let’s enjoy these last 2 and much like last week, I’m just hoping to see any positives and get that winning feeling 🤷‍♂️ 🦅
If we made the finals this year we'd be nothing more than a stepping stone fow whoever we played. Even last weeks win was pathetic where it mattered most. We all know Manly can score points when they get on a roll. So racking up a score is not worth celebrating in my opinion. The 30 points scored against us took most of the gloss off what was really an ordinary win. But that same win made Seibs really proud.

And imagine if we’d not beaten 1st and 2nd placed teams. It works both ways.

I hope they give Joey a run today ( probably won’t ), good experience for the kid.

And next week bring them all up for a run, we’ll get dusted regardless so doesn’t really matter.

This would be a real positive for the fans ( well me at least ).

I guess one thing could happen today and that with the weight off their shoulders & zero to lose , they throw caution to the wind and who knows , that might work.

Whatever happens, I hope we get a face poke or two from Lehi. That young dude really does move to the beat of his own drum. Love him
