Not to mention drink driving is a crime - you can get jail for high range (even for mid range) so it's a serious situation for Hooper and his family.True killing someone while DUI would be horrific but this act also has huge repercussions on his life going forward… The damage to his wife and kids (his wife is a respected journalist) and the fallout from the loss of his job, the car insurer won’t pay costs for all the vehicle damage, loss of his license etc etc.
