You're missing a pretty scrappy game of football, in which Penrith should honestly be up by 20. Having said that, you've probably seen more of the game than Jarred Maxwell..

The effort is there our pack is simply poo, dominant tackle all game. Bar burgess get belted São is very poor and jake need to run onto ball stands flat footed.

Did anyone else notice that the winger Matai hit, Dallin Watene Zelezniak, is the SAME guy he smashed at Brookvale late last year. That kid will have nightmares about dreadlocked Kiwis in Manly jumpers

Its great to finally be in the lead, but lets not kid ourselves because there is still a long way to go. By rights Penrith should have been in front. Two big line breaks and they bombed a certain try each time.

Foran, or at least the guy playing something like the old Kieran Foran we know and loved, is playing his best game for Manly since August. Not his best game but he's definitely taking charge of things out there. On the other hand, DCE continues to be way out of form and tonight seems to be in 'go slow' mode.

Hiku looks slow and overweight and nearly gets pushed back in goal every time he gets the ball. He should run out harder or go to ground.

They are having a go.
Matai using himself as a launching pad.
Much better than last week so far.

Forwards need to start running on to the ball. Getting it flat footed then looking at the defence rushing at you isnt doing ****. Run on to it and keep running like no one is in front of you! Glad to be up at half time but still very sloppy in the forwards!
