Give it up mate! You don’t think much of him, I do…..as do many commentators & ex players who I dare say know a hell of a lot more about talent than you do. Any club in the top 8 would have him in an instant.

Possibly unpopular but what if Turbo retires end of 26. You then have Hoppa or Koula at fullback. Garrick is your next in for me. That’s 3 of your back 5 with Saab/Talua/Willet/Clayton options for the other 2 spots

Think the issue here is about value. His worth or cost. yes, been great player for the club, goal kicker. That try he scored from our in-goal area after getting a spray from DCE a year ago or so - brilliant. The chase the other day - showed great heart. BUT, his contract was about his ability to grow tries from 4 to 6 points. Doesn't our new half back become a suitable replacement option? This affects his $ value.

Football is a business, it has a time limit, don't blame one little bit to test the market. I agree we don't need to pay overs and remain in the player roster we have. We need to get new and better players to challenge the competition.

Having said that this year has been so disappointing because we have quality players but none of them have been consistent. If they played as a team week in week out we would be in the top 4. What is the point of playing the big teams, play well, then loose to the bottom 4 teams. Seriously that's about attitude.

Ummm Koula, Garrick, Lehi, Simpkin, TKO have been pretty consistent all year just to name a few. All 3 Trbos have underperformed yet they seem to be the darlings of some in here.

Think your referring to the season performance. Mate it's a team sport; they need to play as a team. Yes, I agree all of those players in individual games put in individual performances. but as a team, generally we sucked! the players did not match enthusiasm of other players.

None of the players you mentioned all played great games in the same game.

This is exactly why I cant understand why Garrick, Lomax, etc are so desperate to play centre.

I'd pay more for a To'o type on the wing than just about any centre running around. It's such an important position.

Matee he's our best player in the backline maybe even the whole team. He break tackle fend off bigger players the most in our team I think, too small my arss. Grandma traditional Tongan bbq pork with all the fats for a couple of weekend that'll fix it, he might b bigger than his old man soon. Only 20yrs old who know we might have just the forwards we been looking for, another Beaver/Kite would b nice indeed. LIONEL RICHIE is definitely a must keep...

It's an unusual moniker so I looked it up one day. Those letters refer to a chronic pain syndrome.
So not sure if our Silvertails CRPSI (I used to think of him/her as 'Crispy', lol) has such a syndrome. But on reflection i could forgive anyone suffering chronic pain for being a little, er, brusque on occasion.
