Hope he checked them for pins...
So passionate it's almost tempting to start posts of a ah...........Love Strawberries, $1 a punnett up here at present.
Feel sorry for the poor farmers.
As for pigs, I had bacon for breakfast as it’s Sunday.
Back to Weetbix in the morning.
Nice passionate post @Woodsie

Or dare I mention the name...
Brian Kelly???
The 'old fella' you're referring to HE is Warwick Bulmer and I respect him too - he's definitely got maroon & white blood.Yep.
It ceased to be a club when it became a franchise.
Especially this franchise.
Woodsie I don't know his name but the old fella who leads the team song 6 times a year if we are lucky.
I respect him.
A GIGANTIC PRICK has been found in a Strawberry in Parliament todayHope he checked them for pins...
Rodney Howe has them. What about the needles?
What about the needles?
A realist my good friend. Great comments, opinion and thoughts. I envy your experiences with those passionate players of old.PSS .... the above post will be viewed by many as a dummy spit .... it is ..... but it also a cry for help ..... please give me one name ...

You're a good man Woodside, one I'd consider a mate.
Well said.
Same applies to you champion !Herr Woodsie is value for money on ST mate , and no doubt a very passionate Manly man!!
I have always been a proud, loyal and confident supporter, and always supportive of Manly .... to a fault ..... coaches, players, the club ... everything .... could see no evil ..... since attending my first games as a teen in the 60's, to hanging around the sheds and playing as a lower grade numpty in the 70's, then as a boofhead supporter for the next half century..... I have loved and supported the club ...
But a huge part of that support was always the people at the club and that I had met along the way .... Manly, like most football clubs were blessed with outstanding people .... back in the day the sheds were always full of ex-manly greats that volunteered their time as selecters, team managers, gear stewards, cleaner-uperers or just blokes who liked to hang out ...
We had people at the club to be proud of. Arko, Stanton, Peters, Tennyson, Hunter, Fulton. Ritchie, Batty.
It would not be unusual to turn up to find Roy bull asking kids how they pulled up, Rueb Hudson, Bernie Seymour, Gordon Willoughby, Bob Lenon, Bill Hamilton and many others all just being around the place .... making themselves useful and giving back ....
Today of course there are no volunteers, they wouldn't be allowed in the sheds .... would have to get somebodies permission ....
Which brings me to my point ..... I have been trying to come up with the name of one person at the club in any senior capacity ... that on the 23/09/2018 ... that I can honestly say I like, admire or respect ...... and I can't ... not a bloody one ....
... and with all respect to Gorman ..... if he is your answer ..... if a Cronulla bloke who has been at our great club for less than a year is your answer ..... then we are truly fukked ....
Giving a Centre of Excellence to this mob is akin to giving strawberries to pigs ......
No dummy spit at all
Great post and I agree soul of the club gone.
Imagine 2V’s as CEO and actual owners who cared and a passion for the club, real passion and willing to give 100% effort plus be willing to put in necessary funds and admit their mistakes and take accountability for themselves.
