How was Williame not on the Bozo list of unwanted?

Call me harsh or correct me if I am wrong and I could never play NRL so he is a better player than I ever was but from what I saw this year if Williame asked me if he could play in my C grade Oztag team I would tell him he ain't good enough.

G'day all,The alarm bells have been ringing for a long time with this mob now running the show,but the most diabolical decision to me is how you could even entertain the idea of letting John Hopoate coach a junior development team.Are they completely devoid of any commonsense or scruple?And Bozo appointing his boys to the payroll just further shows how deep in the mire we've gone.

No, I can't agree. He is a good attacking player, unproven in defence, and doesn't have the X-Factor of Tom Turbo. Having said that, we should have retained him. It's madness.

I agree. Boo was the star in the beginning for the club but then came Tommy T. and the club has decided this is who we want to keep and his brother Jake
But you don't get rid of your good juniors, especially local ones who have come through the system from the age of 14, then turn around and buy average players from other clubs. Its very poor and it just goes to show that none of the club's good juniors are safe here

I'm not that fussed about Gutherson. IMO he was still a long way off NRL standard. Liam Knight goes well amongst the boys but I have my doubts about him being a "superstar" in the NRL. Someone even suggested he was a future captain. I would have thought that if any of our forwards would have this honor in the future it would be Jake T. Sorry, but neither of them excite me.

I could not have said it better. The decision making process is inconsistent and bloody risky.

I really liked what I saw of Gutherson but I don't think he is anything but a fullback and we have Brett Stewart and Tom T.

In a perfect world it's great to mould a good young prospect into a 5/8 or a centre because there is a spot up for grabs, but it rarely works that way. He doesn't seem like a natural ball player (more a runner with the ability to chime into the backline and throw the odd pass), and he doesn't have the great lateral movement and speed of Tom T.

Yes, he is not slow, has talent, and will probably make a good first grade fullback, but he is more in the mould of Lachlan Coote than Jarryd Hayne.

As far as fullback depth goes, it would probably go Snake, Hiku, Turbo at this point. For all Hiku's flaws in the wing, he's always proven to be solid at the back.

Knight's a boy himself though. He's a boy playing against boys, and he's standing out. Of course that's no guarantee that he'll excel in first grade, but if you can't see that he's got talent, then you're a very hard taskmaster Frank.

That's what i have said for ages. He is a full back, but would need to play wing or center at Manly. Could be a great winger, but not sure that's where he wants to stay long term, and would need to work defensively at lot on his game at center and add some size, but seems more natural at full back. Hiku will move to center and I see manly going after a specialist center. They did chase curtis scott, but looks like hopa jr is what they have in mind? Although going after someone like Whare from panthers to replace skivy/lyon would be ideal

If this is true, Then we have become Parramatta. Letting standout kids go to other clubs due to bad management. Maybe Gutho asked for a release because they offered him the vacant fullback spot. It is quite possible his management approached us and we have done the right thing by not standing in the way of his career. Just the same way the Broncos did with Matt Parcell. It would be an arsehole thing to do to keep him and play nsw cup when he could play NRL though. We should have gave them Hiku , Williame and Blaire instead.

Would be nice if Barrett got close to Whare. I hope he doesn't like Idris...
