Well they actually did beat us last year at Brookie... Uate was a no try.

We started 0-2 in 2008

The first game was against Melbourne and we lost 18-6. It was the worst display of football from a Manly team I can remember.

Ok. That's an interesting comment. But how many times have the eventual premiers ever faced off with previous wooden spooners in the first round of the competition? IDK.. But just because it may have never happened it doesn't mean it's impossible. In any case I'm still not sure what it would reveal about our off season...

Yep, Bookies have the Rorters winning the comp. I guess that means it's gonna happen, I'm not going to bother watching the rest of the season, just gonna pack it up now.
