Yes Valentine Holmes is a natural full back to me

I thought that I read a while ago that Bird wanted to stay at 5/8 and didn't want to move to the centres. Less likely to want to play full back as he is too slow

He has Manly 5/8 written all over him

To think at one stage last year we we're thinking about Cournish and Elegy at half back but we could possibly be looking at the best half combo in the competition with DCE and Bird.

He would be higher on the pecking order with us.If he leaves the nest ,I really see him spreading his wings and flying at Manly.But I wouldn't be placing all my eggs in one basket just yet.Cronulla are still favorites to keep him ,but only ahead by a beak.
