He was great tonight. Kicking game was spot on & stayed cool under pressure. Don’t think we’ll miss DCE that much to be honest.

If we're buying him for his long range kicking game alone I think he'll do a job, anything else he does above a serviceable level is a bonus. I'm onboard with the idea of freeing up the cap, and starting with Chez was on regardless due to the contract end dates.

Once Tom and Jake retire or re-sign on reduced deals I think we'll be able to see the long term direction Manly are heading, especially with some of the huge deals they've made with key players like Ola there's clearly a plan they're building towards. It feels like we may be in the market for players that aren't just journeymen plugging holes at the expense of DCE and few others massive deals, and paying for it results wise.

I don't think Fogarty will win us a premiership, but I don't think he'd lose us one either.

If we get some forwards like the raiders he'll be great for us. With money to spend i hope we get someone decent. Maybe a pommy?? Raiders always get them we should look into the SL.

He was good though and he seems like a really good bloke everyone respects. His kicking game was great and he iced all the pressure kicks. Great buy for us considering Dce shafted us. We could of been left with Brooks running the team and he's been ass all year compared to his form last season

We all know what Jamal brings with the boot but I’ve been watching him like a hawk in defence and that’s a very underrated part of his game. He was outstanding in defence last night and did a really good job of controlling his edge. He slides better than Daly and shows a lot of urgency to get across the lead runner after he ‘checks’. He also made some nice legs tackles.

Twice he ran the ball on the last and showed good speed to get past the rushing pressure. The second time he did this, he threw a beautiful double cut out pass.

The more I’m seeing, the more I’m liking.
