So Manly would pay to get Moses at a bargain price & then pay DCE to go to Parramatta lololol!
DCE for Moses? Surely not
It’s the silly season and here’s a rumour that I’ve heard more than once over the past week.
It involves a player swap between Parramatta’s Mitchell Moses and Manly’s Daly Cherry Evans for 2019.
The Eels are desperate to offload Moses and could let Manly have him at a bargain basement price.
Manly, meanwhile, are looking to cut costs any way they can and could be tempted to eliminate the highest paid player on their roster.
The proposed swap deal is as crazy as a rugby league rumour gets.
My mail is inkling Manly coach Des Hasler is a big DCE fan and the No.7 won’t be going anywhere.
Swapping the Australian halfback for the inconsistent Moses would have Sea Eagles fans burning down what passes for a grandstand at Brookie Oval.

Adopting Lurker’s self contradicting approach, this is why the rumour could be true...

People might think how could Parra afford to pay for DCE, the bulk of Moses’ contract and Norman - they’d be paying $3m for halves, including for 1 playing for another club. But when you read that aloud it actually sounds precisely like something Parra would do.

DCE just bought a new house on the northern beaches, but Choc actually found that travelling from the northern beaches to Parra helped him get out of his car at training. Oh, and don’t forget DCE owns a house on the Goldie too, so he has form buying property in the area of a club before deciding not to play for them.

It seems pretty clear that BA was on the Stewarts/Choc/Foz side of the ‘war’ so some may say a DCE signing is unlikely, but maybe BA wants to do it just to get back at Foz (again sounds precisely like something Parra would do), or maybe even the signing of Choc and Foz was an elaborate plan to distract Manly so they could get DCE a few years down the track.

That’s it, I’m convinced, it’s defimitely happening.
