Yeah , after the crappiest week possible for premiers celebrations . I can see the positives ahead for us in 2012 and onwards.

New coach , new board , reinvigorated playing roster , and the chance that the mighty Cliffy and Beaver may be part of the set up in 2013.

Anyone else feeling way better

Just a couple of days ago I was confused , angry, overreactive, felt betrayed, maybe even deluded & irrational in thinking.
Anyone offended by things posted in bad taste should take note - its not we dont give a s**t, but quite the opposite.
Cant help but feel a little let down by Des, especially the timing but now iv'e cooled down realise he has done wonders for Manly & has been 1 of the good guys. If he keeps his (paws) off the players for 2013 I am still able to look him in the eye in 2012 with plenty of respect, again though I will confess, still feel this is a strong example of vested interest.
To my main point - damn I feel better than just a few days ago.
Tooves for mine will be an absolute gun coach & he has a gift many coaches dont - an aura that makes people want to play for him & not let him down - with this I am certain. Plus there seems a FAR greater chance the Crusher will stay put, no guarantee of course but s**tloads more than 80 hours ago. Same with the players who seemed lost just days ago APPEAR to have found the way back to the Seaeagles nest. One last thing - not only feel better but after seeing how cool & collected Tooves looked in an interview, no BS, I'm really looking foward to him getting the gig, bring on the WCC, lovin my footy again!!

Tooves sounded like Des in an interview i heard on MMM.

Funny in 1997 Tooves replaced Des then Des went to Wests, or was Des shifted sideways cause Tooves was the better Halfback I cant remember. Either way they are both cut from the same cloth BOZO cloth.

Within a week after GF08 I had bought a fair bit of Premiers stuff. Haven't bought a thing yet this year. Haven't really wanted to up until yesterday. But am now thinking of heading over to the factory outlet on Saturday to spend a bit of dosh. And I need to buy another Sea Eagles sticker for my car after I ripped the other one off on the weekend.
I think I watched GF08 everyday for at least a month straight after. I have watched GF11 only once since seeing it live. Will be watching it again, probably more than once, this weekend. Can't wait for the season highlights DVD now too.
