I agree there are talent there and shame we are doing better. We used to go good in lower grades a few years ago.

I think there is a massive difference in how we use reserve / lower grades

To the outside person it looks like we identify a few key players and groom them for first grade rather than trying to have a "winning team"

I am not really concerned if we win in the lower grades. We just need to have a handful of talented players there to call on when injuries arise and also some young talent being developed. We seem to have done this well over the years. We have made the finals every years since 2005, made 3 GF's and won 2 of them. That's what counts, not who has won reserve grade or Holden cup.
