To come home from Brookie wet, cold and despondent and read that Manly players were laughing after such a loss makes me feel sick!

The players being/looking despondent and miserable isn't going to make them play any better next week, which is the only thing they can do about that performance now.

Next season is going to resemble a mass real estate auction clearance. With the Perth Bears coming in 2027 is it any wonder so many players are now angling for the 1yr deal only for 26. Sure, we'll have more cap money to spend but so will everyone else, especially the Bears.
Well the Bears will finally get their revenge on us for N.E debacle. Them coming in will rob us of any chance of signing marquee players and we'll be consigned to the bottom dweller club for years.

To clean out all the shxt ......we need a massive enema
May as well give DCE one while he's still here

How Tedesco didn't get binned is beyond me, accidental or not it's been a sinbin offence, hit in the head with moderate force has been a bin offence all year.

Turbo needs to be our fullback and we looked more potent in attack and also alleviates his defensive mistakes in the centres. If the coaching staff can't see that then they can go aswell.

DCE can **** off right now. His long kicking game was non exsistant with a gale behind his back. Got outplayed by Walker. He was ****ing useless.

Top 8 prospects diminishing by the week but maybe see how D C E goes next game as the 7
But following last week's disappointing outcome , admittedly , hardly deserving a final "s spot for the side in general .
Definitely worth giving Walsh a crack at 7 soon if D C E can not improve even marginally with his current form level and final "s opportunity virtually shot
Or give him a role at 9 if Jazz now out , to compel him to at least get more directly involved and less opportunity to shirk his main responsibilities . Other option of course , start playing N S W cup
If he doesn't like it , enforce a breach of contract notice and make him pay back some of his contract money until Nov the i st
Just hope that with Koula, pretty much a free agent after Nov the i st and only signed in Manly 's favor until 26 , does not consider moving on with the side lacking so much crucial direction recently, mainly caused by D C E .

I actually reckon Burbo was ripping in prior to putting his head in the wrong place.
I should have posted something similar last night. But the red mist had descended, and nothing positive was going to be posted at that point.
I’m watching us turn it under to Waddell or Lodge, and thinking have I got the TV settings on slo-mo? Then Burbo would come charging onto it, usually with a left foot step, zoning into the Roosters middle, getting a quick play the ball, then the TV returned to slo-mo. And to learn that he’ll be out next week with Jazz just adds that extra kick in the gutz.

Agreed, we were pretty poor. But:
  • we never play well in the wet; not an excuse, just a fact. When did we last win in the rain?
  • the "forward pass" try was not forward.
  • in the second half I think Easts were awarded six penalties to our one. The ref was only officiating one side. How often to you see the home team pinged so unevenly in the NRL?
  • the ref never pinged Easts for being offside, and it was their clawing defence that made our attack look insipid.
  • DCE and Brooks' kicking was lamentable. Yet all three Easts' tries came from kicks.
  • our only form of attack is though sweeping backline plays. The conditions nulified this option, leaving us with no attack.

Next Friday night is looking dire in the forwards, no Paseka, Ailoi, Brown, Ola, add Jazz and Burbo now. That's 6 out. Big chance Froggy could finally get a start on Friday.
Who is this ‘Froggy’ character you refer too?

It's truly bewildering how this could happen in a vital game for the Roosters under a referee whose father played for them (and Parra). I'm as baffled as you are.

I get where you’re coming from. Maybe it won’t change how they play next week. But that’s not really the point, is it?

This is about pride. It’s about standards. After a performance that lacked effort, hunger, and accountability – seeing senior players smiling and joking around with the coach on live TV feels tone-deaf. We’re not talking about a private moment behind closed doors. This was broadcast to the whole footy world, right when fans were still processing a gutless showing.

One of them was the captain. The other was celebrating a milestone game – and you’d hope that might come with some leadership, some awareness of what the moment demands. Instead, we got what looked like blokes completely detached from the disappointment.

No one’s saying they need to fall on their swords. But read the room. Show us – the fans who pour our time, money, and emotion into this club – that it hurts you too.

Because culture matters. And if what we saw doesn’t matter to them, then we’ve got a bigger problem than just two halves of garbage football.

I live 5mins from GIO, now planning to stay as far away from the stadium as I can so I don't hear the horns and Faiders fans laughing at me.

Ditched all your plans Manly fans, they don't deserve any of us. What a disgraceful effort, as passionate as I'm maybe my membership for 2026 done. Bunch of F######### useless F*********

I moved to the Hunter before the season started. I have a 3 game membership in the Fulton stand but haven't been at all this year.

Was planning to come to the Dolphins game seeing as though it's an early kick off. Seriously questioning though whether I should spend 6 hours round trip in the car to watch them dish up the crap they dished up last night.

I don't know who ran out last night but that wasn't Manly. I still can't figure out why Easts would want D$E when they have Walker and Savala. What a colossal waste of money. The faster he buggers off the better. Drop him to Ron Massey cup because he sure as f*ck doesn't give two sh*ts about this team. Mercenary pr*ck.

Rant over. I feel better now.......but not much.
