Post-Game Discussion Manly V Dolphins [Round 25, 2025]

Looked like dolphins played their GF last week.

I was quite confident we’d play this way and crack 50. I just needed a dce try in my multi and I would have won $1k off a $5 bet!

Nothing will bring me as much joy in a football game as seeing a fat assed wombat of a front rower keeping pace with our outside backs for the length of the field and going over to score. Of all good tries that one was the most joyous

Going against popular opinion here, but I thought Waddell had a good game.

Yes, he passed to a Dolphin’s player twice but the first time I thought Talau should have been backing him up, the 2nd time it was 5th tackle & we handed the ball to the Dolphins in good territory for us.

He also forced an error from the Dolphins & was Johnny-on-the-spot backing up kicks & loose balls a lot of times.

His effort can’t be questioned IMO.

I like his effort but I thought his defence wasn’t great. In saying that, I think he’s a middle. With leg speed, he can be effective around the middle of the ruck. Just don’t put him in a position to make decisions because he’s about as intelligent as Saab.

Ran through the highlights just now. Was so good seeing Hoppa commit to just bumping his opposite out of the way and then getting in a sharp put down before the cover came through. A great try among many others today

A win's a win and I'm happy (unlike some on here, unbelievable). Great atmosphere at Brookie today and it was so good to see the likes of Koula, Lehi, Turbo, Brooks, etc in full flight again.

Many fans around me were all saying the same thing....where was this in the last 4 weeks.

A little disappointed that only Sips, DCE and Turbo came around, which they usually do after a win. Another observation was strangely the excessive amount of security on the field after the game.

Anyway, our season's still alive (by a thread).

If the game was for a top 4 spot, id say a loss would be preferred to a 58 point win that meant little.

Been out all day had a Community function I was running and missed it but listened to the game on abc radio and like you just watched highlights should of been 58-18 we let in some soft tries late but I will take the win any day of the week didn't think we would win again this year.

I haven't read through the threads so sorry is this has been said but WTF where was this last week only Ruben missing from lasts weeks loss. We play like today last Sunday we would of smoked the tigers.

It's so frustrating supporting us right now.

We still are miles off any of the top sides and our defence is no where to been seen.

You take tigers last week knights loss, eels loss and titans loss and that's why we won't be playing finals footy 8 points we should of got.
