Sometimes time-zones help as I went to sleep without knowing dce was out.

So that took some 'stress' off.

Interesting a commentator said that in the 20 mins after half time, Manly are +88 in points f/a. Guess that's Manly's sweet spot.

With less crowd noise I've noticed that the Refs actually call out every main defender by first name on every tackle. Used to think Jake was being singled out but I reckon the reason we hear his name so much is purely because he is the main defender in so many tackles.

I think we all get it mate. Jake just needs to learn a way to slow it down that that isn't so "hands on the player". I thought Des would have addressed this by now.

Yea true. I have been thinking about that lately too. He needs to get of the player quicker at least close to our line. I don’t think there is a way mate to hold them down without giving away a penalty, we just have to change with the game. We tend to loose more calls than we win anyway. What I hate most is when we are defending on our line and on the 5th and last we give away a penalty because we panic by holding them down Or do some stupid thing after all our hard work.
