Not having Jono Wright and Parker named in lower grades. I think you'll find Turbo will be named in at 4pm.

Tom named as 21, interesting that Jono Wright is named in the starting sides in both ISP and NRL.

Parker is definitely the best replacement for Taufua at this stage.

On last years form Parker ...but watched him in the U20's a few weeks ago and he got in the clear but looked like he was running in quicksand, expected him go all the way but was caught way too easily.
Bulked up since last year but has sacrificed speed, so can see why Trent has gone with Jono, that was obviously what he was bought for - experienced 1st grade back-up.
Could all be a moot point if Turbo is fit anyway as I assume Matty Wright will move to Jorge's wing spot.

Johno Wright did nothing in the Reserve grade match on Sunday. He was completely outplayed by his centre partner.
Parker played well in the Under 20s.
This selection smacks of taking a safe option because he is experienced.
For the life of me I can't see how Poo is always selected. He made some dumb plays when he came on against the Faders.

Johno Wright seems like a nice bloke and he's been a good professional for a number of years, but really, this is the perfect opportunity to give young Parker another go. Unless of course Turbo is back in the team, in which case they'll probably push Matt Wright onto Jorge's wing… I just hope we're not rushing Tommy back into the team with the idea that he'll then be picked for the Origin side. He's going to play Origin sooner rather than later and his long-term health should be the club's number one priority.

True, Mataele and Cullen were our best on Sunday but I only saw the 2nd half.
It is a safe option but his job will be a simple one, try to do what Jorge did...take one of the first three hit ups, defend your wing, and score a try or two...and minimise errors. He isn't a speed machine but neither is Jorge and as I wrote earlier Parker lacks some zip this year.
Surely he's been around long enough to do that.

I heard Api say that he passed his HIA, and was ok to come back, but Barrett decided to keep him off due to exhaustion, so that would mean he's all clear for Friday
