After that big delay, then the fight, they are the exact conditions that any other team would've been turned around and bent over by Melbourne, bet they were licking their lips at half time, then to come out 2nd half down even more troops and play the game out and keep them scoreless for 99% of it, that was gutsy. Last year we would've crumbled. Sure we'll have major injuries and possible suspensions in the coming weeks, but the spirit after a game like that is why i reckon we can go all the way this year. Next week will be a great chance for some of these fringe players to get some quality minutes in the lead up to the big games, and after that, they have a target to maintain as they'll want to be winning positions for the big ones. Amazing effort from everyone on the field last night i say.
