Game Day: Manly v Tigers [Round 23, 2017]

I think it's pretty clear, Baz and the team will be well aware of an ambush at Leichhardt, and the Tigers have been playing reasonable footy. I'm sure our mindset will be defence based. We tend to be a bit loose in the 1st half, and come home strong in the 2nd 40. Can't see anything to suggest an upset here, even at Leichhardt.

Only complacency and/or the Leichhardt factor could defeat us. We can't let them get on a roll and then have to play catch-up...it doesn't work. As long as our defence is solid and we play like a top 8 side, we should win well

Really looking forward to my first game day at Leichhardt  Hoping its a happy experience and not a disaster like WIN Stadium was recently :tmi:

Go Manly!!

And let's forget about the refs , you bring them into play and they'll affect the game, you just take the penalty, move back and work harder the next set, and suddenly they don't play that much of a role in the game.

We've been guilty for most of the year in letting them get in our heads, ignore them , be respectful , and quickly into the next play, don't let THEM be the centre of attention.
They make THEMSELVES the center of attention. It's what Turdy wants that'll decide this game. I can see Woods and Teddy carving us again and the clowns giving them the penalties. Tigpies by 6.
