Manly's Sports Science Unit To Be Audited

ADRIAN PROSZENKO: The NRL has commissioned Deloitte to audit Manly's sports science department in the wake of the Stephen Danks drugs scandal. Danks was a sports science guru for several NRL clubs before switching to the AFL. It's understood the Deloitte investigation could include an audit of other rugby league clubs he consulted to. However the focus will undoubtedly be the Sea Eagles, where he was employed from 2006 to 2010. The club tasted premiership success during his tenure. League officials have previously used Deloitte's services, namely during the salary cap scandal which engulfed the Melbourne Storm.

The only way they should of done it is by doing all clubs at once. Hopefully this is the case, the NRL is quiet on it though hope we get the full story no matter the outcomes

Shouldn't it be all clubs??

I mean a scandal as large as this, that affects several codes & sports - investigations should not pick & chose.

Just reading the NRL comments in the media to me it is all clubs and their sports medicine will be audited - Manly hasn't specifically been called out by the NRL
