Give the guy a chance. It was his first game for FFS. We got absolutely belted by The Eels massive pack. After round 5 if he's still playing crap then whip away.

I thought he played with a lack of purpose and energy, but he wasn't the only one. He did play long minutes and he will add another dimension to our attack so I don't think it's all bad. He will improve as the season progresses.

Really impressed tonight. If he can play at 13 like he's played at 6 hell do great. Think though he drifts out of games at 13 but hope I'm wrong.

What I liked about Mataeo tonight was when he scored he was pumped usually he is very casual about things.. ALREADY buying into the manly culture !!

I honestly hopes that Feleti would buy into "Manly" and he looks to be doing exactly that. Hope he keeps it up all year 🙂

Yes, another fine performance from Mateo tonight, but it will nice to see him return to the forwards, where he can add another dimension to our attack, rather than the "only" dimension.

It's comforting to know that Mateo can slot right into 5/8 and turn in a MOM performance. He has been excellent.
