I heard (around the traps, but certainly not substantiated) that the Coco Joy deal isn't much of an upgrade on what they were paying but as the club was desperate for one they signed them up. As to how true that is, who knows, but the fact that we have moved a sleeve sponsor to the front does smell a bit fishy I must say.

Despite him saying he's not, I still think @BOZO is a part of the club somewhere, its not the first time we have had someone join up from the organisation.

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have made significant changes to its coaching staff under new Head Coach Trent Barrett.
Pre-season training began on Monday for the 2016 season. Here is an insight into the new faces of the football department.
Head Coach – Trent Barrett
A talented five-eighth/half-back, Trent played 295 first grade games through stints at Illawarra, St George-Illawarra, Wigan, and Cronulla. He represented NSW on 11 occasions and played 15 Tests for Australia and four World Cup matches. On the coaching front, Trent has worked as an Assistant Coach for the NSW Blues, and Penrith Panthers. He has also coached Country Origin and Italy in the World Cup.
Assistant Coach/Recruitment Manager – John Cartwright
A great ball-playing second-rower, John played 184 first grade games for Penrith, winning a premiership in 1991. He represented NSW eight times and Australia seven times, as well as in four World Cup matches. John was an Assistant Coach at Penrith and the Sydney Roosters before being the first Head Coach of the Gold Coast Titans from 2007-14 (186 games). John was the Assistant Coach of NRL Premiers, North Queensland Cowboys, in 2015.
Assistant Coach - Anthony Seibold
Anthony is a former NRL and English Super League player who joins the Sea Eagles in 2016 as NRL Assistant Coach. He spent the past three seasons at the Melbourne Storm as the 2013 Holden Cup Head Coach, and in more recent seasons, as an assistant to Craig Bellamy. Anthony was Head Coach of the Mackay Cutters in the Intrust Super Qld Cup in 2011-12 and has also worked in the English Super League as an Assistant Coach. He is the current Junior Kangaroos Assistant Coach and Qld U18s Head Coach.
Head of Physical Performance – Dan Ferris
Dan is the new Head of Physical Performance, having previously worked as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Gold Coast Titans, and Head Trainer for the Country Rugby League team under Coach Trent Barrett. A Bond University graduate, Dan's major area of expertise is in all aspects of Elite Physical Performance Program Development, and Management in Professional Contact Sports Athletes.
Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach - Luke O’Donnell
A former NSW and Australian forward, Luke played 188 first grade games through the Balmain Tigers, Wests Tigers, North Queensland Cowboys, and Sydney Roosters. He won an NRL premiership with the Roosters in 2013. Luke played two seasons with the Huddersfield Giants in the English Super League.
Football Operations Manager – Charlie Haggett
A former Manly Sea Eagles player, Charlie has extensive management experience in law enforcement from his 33 years in the NSW Police Force. He was previously the Police Commander for Newcastle. Upon leaving the Police Force, Charlie expanded his experience into major events security management with the Asian Cup and also worked in a liaison and security management role with the Melbourne Storm in 2015.
Head Trainer – Alex Ross
Alex is in his 20th season with the club, dating back to 1996 with the U/14s development squad. He later became the Head Trainer of the NRL squad in 2004. ‘Rossy’ has been involved in two grand final wins (2008,’11) and four grand final appearances with the Sea Eagles.
Head Physiotherapist – Andre Rickenbach
Andre has been the Head Physiotherapist at the Sea Eagles since 2003. He previously held the position of New Zealand Test physiotherapist from 2000-2002. He studied at the University of Auckland, and has a Masters in Exercise Science from the University of Texas, Austin. Andre was involved in the 2008 and 2011 premiership victories.
Physiotherapist - Chris Bailey
Chris has studied at University of Sydney and La Trobe University. He was previously the Head Physiotherapist of the Aussie Mens Rugby 7s program, and physiotherapist at the Australian Rugby Union National Academy. He has worked at the Sea Eagles since 2014.
Video Analyst - Will Badel
Will is highly regarded in the field of sports video analysts. He has previously worked for the Parramatta Eels, NSW Blues (8 years), the Australian Kangaroos (3 years) and returns to the Sea Eagles after working for Manly for five seasons from 2006-11.
Chief Medical Officer – Dr Luke Inman
Luke was the team doctor for the Australian Rugby Union men’s and women’s Seven-a-side teams, and was an assistant doctor to the Sydney Swans and NSW Waratahs teams. He represented Australia in seven-a-side rugby and played for Australia in the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in 2006. He also played 20 matches for the NSW Waratahs in the Super Rugby competition.
Rehab Coach – Cameron Ferguson
Cameron joins the Sea Eagles from the Gold Coast Suns AFL Club where he held the positions of Rehabilitation Manager, and Performance Analyst. He also spent time as the High Performance Manager, and Strength and Conditioning Coach at the Gold Coast Suns Academy. He has studied at Bond University and Griffith University.
NSW Cup Coach & Education & Welfare Manager – Luke Williamson
Luke is now in his fifth season as Manly’s NSW Cup Coach after starting in 2011. He coached the club’s NYC team in 2012 before returning to the NSW Cup role. As a player, Luke played 260 first grade games at the Adelaide Rams, Canberra Raiders, Northern Eagles, Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in the NRL and for the Harlequins, in the English Super League.
Luke also delivers a cohesive and comprehensive Welfare & Education program to Sea Eagles players, from NRL through to Harold Matthews. He is passionate about encouraging, empowering and supporting players in the development of skills outside football.
Under 20s Coach & Development Squad Conditioner - Chad Randall
A Sea Eagles ball boy in the 90s, Chad made his first grade debut in 2002 for the then Northern Eagles. He went on to play66 games for Manly/Northern Eagles until 2006 when he joined the London Broncos in the English Super League. Chad played 197 games for the London club over eight years. His first stint at coaching saw him take a struggling London Academy side to the finals. In 2014, Chad returned home to take up an assistant role with Manly’s SG Ball side before taking on the Head Coach role in 2015. A Golden Point loss saw his team miss out on the Grand Final.
