A 2nd Brisbane team would have the potential to rip the guts out of the Storm.

They are targeting Bellamy as coach and seeing that Cameron Smith is a Logan jnr possibly take him as an inaugural Captain

but if the word going around is right,none of the other clubs want CC bears in as well,and there votes count.

A popular name on other forums seems to be Diehards.

For those that are wondering Diehards was the name of Fortitude Valleys side. They were the most successful side in BRL history with 22 Premierships (beats South Sydneys 20 🙂). A minor point though is that the Valley (term used by locals for describing Fortitude Valley) is actually on the Northside.

Noteable players include:

Chris 'Choppy' Close
Vic Armbruster
Duncan Hall
and Wally Lewis

If they get this name (big chance) and get in,  I'd expect a few mid range sponsors to pull out of the Broncos and back them. Diehards were one of the most supported club's when they played in the BRL.

A couple things that would be problematic would be the emblem

This is Valleys

and this is the Titans

A little bit similar I think

and the colours

Diehards were Royal blue and would clash with Canterbury
