As of tonight, Ivan Cleary has coached 317 NRL games over 12 and 1/2 seasons. He has won 146, lost 168 and drawn 3. That's a winning percentage of just 46.05%.

And his Penrith coaching record makes for even worse reading. 110 games, 47 wins, 63 losses.....a winning percentage of 42.72%.

Cleary coached teams made the Finals in 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011 (Warriors) and 2014 (Penrith). The Warriors did make the 2011 Grand Final. His percentage of getting sides into the Finals, not including 2019, is 41.66%. He was of course sacked from Penrith at the end of 2015 and didn't coach in 2016.

Overrated is the word with his coaching.
