Non-Manly Games [Round 10, 2019]

Anyone reckon Payne Haas played his way into Freddy’s NSW team for game 1?

Freddy looks like he might blood him on the bench this year in place of JDB

Is he ready? Or is there another forward more deserving of the bench forward role?

A couple of ref issues aside Brisbane were clearly the more motivated and better side on the night and deserved to win and no one hates the Bogans more than me. Makes our effort last week look even better.
You’d have some competition there @Sue . Myself, @Mark from Brisbane are up there, but I think @COMMANDER would take the prize. He is on another level of hatred.
The only bit I did like was Segeyaro scoring. Not bad for a bloke that’s been stuck in Reggie’s, then within a week thrown into a massive high intensity game, and didn’t look out of place at all.

A question for people who know footy stuff.
The Segeyaro try.
Right on the line, Dearden plays the ball then walks through the defenders, over the tryline, leaving a gap, through which Segeyaro scores.
Commentators only talked about the dummy. But is that a legal thing to do?
Worked a treat.

The Storm use that tactic in every single play the ball, it drives me nuts.

I like him hope he gets a chance, peseka is a clone of him without the drive and hunger.

I agree, here’s hoping that’s not the case for much longer! If Paseka can unlock some aggression and confidence we may still carry a NSW Prop on our bench one day! (Insert optimistic rating)

We say that about Boyle..say it about Paseka...if u don't have that natural aggression I don't think u can magically create it (fake it) That's a park footballer period. Don't hold ure breath.

I appreciate what you mean, in my mind I’m just reaching but hopefully with confidence those 2 big men can grow the confidence to show their aggression.
It got them to junior reps and a start in 1st grade. I believe (sorry, hope) that instead of bending the line 1 or 2 runs per game in 1st grade, a simple game plan and confidence in their team mates and themselves and they can become consistent enough to establish themselves in the top grade since they have time on their side as far as props go. They’re both pups if people still consider 27 to be the age props hit their straps. I’m hoping they don’t have to get to their mid- to late 20’s at some other club only to blossom from the experience and development at Manly

In Des I trust..

Ash Taylor....all you had to do was kick the fkn thing. Might not have scored but going to ground on last play of the game, unbelievable.

Is it just me who thought the break at the end should of been play on from the dogs knock on? Have I missed something as to why the refs called it back for a scrum?
Wallace knocked on in trying to grab it, if that’s the one you mean.
