Entertaining game, my son in law is a special guest of the Panthers tonight, so for him " Come on Panthers"

As I have a soft spot for the penny panthers, I was on them anyway. Then reading your post knowing Mick (did the whole family go?) was there, and getting the VIP treatment not just from the management, but then from the players to pull that game out of the fire!(Bennett must still be scratching his head?!).
I hope he builds more memories like last nights in the coming months Mark.

Thanks mate, no just his brother and him, taken on an amazing fishing trip off Sydney that morning by some famous fisho guy , and then the Panthers experience which saw him in the sheds pre game, jersey presented to him by the team, then in the sheds when they came back in. He said to me it was his greatest football experience ever ( apart from sitting next to me when we won the 2011 GF).

I'm not religious in any way but I was praying for a win for him and boy didn't they deliver.

Mick's current chemo seems to be holding the lung cancer at bay , so his 6-9 months might end up 12-18 months.

We have our fingers crossed he will get another Xmas with his little boys.

The Storm's structure, shape and precision is light years ahead of ours, hopefully with Parcell starting and Stewart, Symonds back we have have half the fluidity of the Storms set piece.

Well they stole the 2 runner obstruction play from Dez - lucky the pocket Ref saw it as Penerana was about to award an illegal play.
Structures they have are based on their core Team playing together for hundreds of games - Manly will get it together soon

A very good friend of mine had cancer of the lymph glands and it spread everywhere . The Specialist game him Max 12 months and we were all devastated and supported him any way we could and prayed for him and to his credit he kept his spirits up and still tried to be active and get on with life just like your son in law is doing and 7 years later he is still with us .
The Doctors just like the refs don't get it always right .
I dislike every other team except Manly but I am happy the Panthers won for him

After the Warriors loss I looked at the ladder, at least we aren't last!!

I hope at least that we stick with the Gummies and don't let the score run away.

Who knows we might even jag a win, if Newcastle can almost do it after two very poor weeks then perhaps!!!

Funny , I'm on the Surf Coast ( as they call it) , Torquay in Victoria.

They had a huge market here today so down we went, and I spotted a tent doing fish & chips so decided on that for lunch.

I asked the guy serving what sort of fish it was ( they advertised local fish on the banner) he said " Gummy Shark".

Surely that's a sign??

Hey Mark.....mate, something in my bones tells me that we will put it together for a tough win on Monday night. The Sharks are going to be a top 4 side this year I think; however, with the changes made to the side (especially Snake) - I sense victory.
