NSW Cup 2025

To be fair re lodge

How many players do the dogs have out at the moment? If the NRL is accurate (if) Casualty Ward

Almost all forwards. So he had a dominant display against an under strength line up

I am not saying he is not a decent player but talk of him being the best prop in the NRL? That is a million miles from the mark
I'm just saying..on his day when he actually "wants it" he's a beast.

Old school hard nosed prop with an offload and power..

You just wonder what's between the ears though.

Not much judging by previous actions....also not a great track record in recent years for injury

Walsh, Talau, Navale, all named in NSW Cup. Schoupp still in second row. Looks like the 14 jersey in first grade is either between a hooker or a back this year.

Zaidas Muagututia played 60 minutes for 77 run metres, 1 line break, 1 line break assist, 1 try assist, 31 tackles with 83.78% tackle efficiency & 1 error.

Walsh had 59 run metres, 2 line break assists, 2 try assists, 15 tackles 83.3% tackle efficiency & 1 error.

Navale backed up for 80 minutes with 125 run metres, 1 line break, 38 tackles with 80.5% tackle efficiency

Seems like there were some problems defensively for all of them but manly did also have a player in the bin which could explain some of it. According to NSW cup stats Navale overall is 97.4% Walsh is 87.5% & Zaidas is 92.2% in tackling efficiency for the season.

Check out the attempted chase down from Hugo Hart on the intercept try Parra scored, looks like a perfect athletic build for a modern day back rower. Didn’t catch him but good to see the effort from another young player who was playing SG Ball to start the season. Club must have some big wraps on him too

Really promising tackle efficiency from all involved 😂

Definitely have to cut Navale some slack there considering he played 15 minutes in first grade and backed it up with 80 minutes at lock in reserve grade less than a day later. Normally he barely misses a tackle. And Zaidas is coming along really nicely by the looks of it. Improving his stats in reserve grade every week. Playing bigger minutes now too. Will be interesting to see what happens when Gordie returns.

He's pretty quick. The type of player I'd love to see in our top team. What you reckon? Still 12 -18 mths away. Or an outside chance to debut later this year?
How long is a piece of string?
His rise has been meteoric and probably unpredicted, but his cameo in the trial at the start of the year was impressive.
I sort of think Seibold will stick with experience this year and doubt we will be high enough up the ladder to have the luxury of just giving a kid a few minutes(for me I would do it anyway).
Looks a good shot of an NRL contract or at least a supplementary contract for next year.
The club obviously rated him and were prepared to pay him to get him on a T&T contract.
I just think he could be something special in time.
