And fly every groin specialist in the world to Brookvale to make sure Kite is ok.

I think we can beat the Rabbits without him, but others will be tough

Anyone know how bad his injury was?
Was it just a precaution to take him off, or is he in a bit of strife?

We'll beat the rabbits inc. with or without Kite, but I agree KE, to progress we'll have to play better than today. In patches we were good, but in the second half we were not so good.

Ian Roberts has answered the call and is on his way to Narrabeen now to fix Kite's groin.
oi kites a christian i dont think he would take to kindly to a rub and tug from ian :blaugh:

I have it on very good authority that he won't be risked this weekend but no stone will be left unturned to have him on deck for the weekend before the GF>

Kite believes in 'miracle'

September 04, 2007 MANLY prop Brent Kite said this morning he still has some chance of playing in Saturday's NRL qualifying final with South Sydney at Brookvale Oval.

Kite initially feared his NRL season was over when he limped from the field against St George Illawarra last Sunday.

But scans, revealing he had fully torn his adductor muscle, have given him hope he will play again this year.

Had Kite partially torn the muscle he would have required season-ending surgery.

He is only expected to miss one to three weeks, but is optimistic he can make a miracle recovery in time for Saturday's game.

If Manly beats the Rabbitohs on Saturday it will automatically progress to the grand final qualifier, which is when Kite is more likely to return.

and let the propaganda begin. Kite is as much chance of playing this weekend as I am of snaring a date with Elle McPherson.

Make you make sure you post the pictures of your date on the website.

Do we have any medical people here who can explain why a fully torn abductor is better then a partially torn one? I would have thought that both would have required surgery to repair?
