The fact is that in the current Manly backline (not including Cherry or TGWH who are in the halves), Turbo is the only player we have who has the speed to score a try like Roberts did last night.

Kelly and Suli would have been so far back you'd think it was like an F1 up against a bus, while Matt Wright and Brad Parker.....our current wingers no less.....would have been so far back you'd think they were still in reserve grade.

If not for Turbo, Cherry and TGWH, our current 1-7 would be close to, if not the slowest in the NRL. And the sad part is that we wouldn't be much better off for speed if Walks, Jorge and Aku were fit.

The Newcastle Titans game was very interesting to listen to on the radio ( out returning grandkids today), nice win by the Knights , and a come from behind at half time victory.

Completely agree we look pedestrian, however Killer and Skivvi were hardly speed merchants. Much smarter players I grant that.
