No idea what so many see in Api as a hooker, he was all over the shop, slow, terrible passing game and really stunted us. Tried to play like a half and over played his hand, actually was one of the main reasons we looked like a team of individuals because he went away from team plays and calls and just tried some stupid step. Maybe it was just the way the team played over all, however for me to see him as anywhere near the quality we have let go I would need to see massive improvement. He isn't even a stain on Ballins underwear in comparison and even Ferris was a far better hooker than him.

We don't need utilities on the team when we dont even have specialists in any areas yet. Sort out your first string halves, hooker and fullback, then worry about injecting extra after that.

Api strikes me as the kind of player you want in hooker against a tired defense close to the line, put him in the middle of the park or in our own end and he will be an absolute disaster.

Interesting comments re Api all around. thought parcel was too small and only showed great pace and some decent passing.
I think bozo will have a signing or two next year and hooker will be one of them.
I like Apis defence and he should shine with a decent pack.
He tried hard this year considering DCE couldnt run the show on his own.

Like the idea of creating a larger pack as we have been run over consistently by most packs for the past few seasons.

Amazing we are light on backs now but we saw that a super star backline could not do everything without some decent pigs in the middle.

Only showed great pace and decent passing! I'll cop that everyday of the week as opposed to average pace and disgraceful passing.

Like Apis defence . He misses 3 times more tackles than Parcell.

Two different players definitely, Just checked NRL stats and yes he does miss more tackles than parcel by double. I think he tends to hit harder and often bounces off. Hopefully this is all rumour and we keep Matt so he is given a go without injury anway!

Although they didn't say they have heard anything about it being official or true, they just referenced the one site that started it, only time will tell if it's true, till then we should think otherwise

Parcell had potential no doubt and I doubt that the powers that be would just flick him without it being part of a grander plan. Either they need the money because they have their sights set on someone else, be it a back or another hooker. At this stage who knows, I doubt very much if true that they just sat down one day and said "Leeds need a hooker, let's give them Parcell."

The problem with that theory is that the rumour of Parcell being moved on was around a few months ago.They have been moving players on for a while now and we are yet to see any grand plan.I suspect it's to do with funding the players that already at the club.

The four players who've been most strongly rumored to be in the plans for moving on this off season have been: Buhrer, Parcell, Taufua, and Lawrence.
Looking like the rumors are at least half true and I simply don't get it. I have time for every one of these.
Buhrer: yes, small but gutsy as all hell, slippery, intelligent, and played with such passion for the Manly colors.
Parcell: fast, good passer, good defender.
Jorge: unstoppable close to the line and played game after game for us in pain with his injured shoulder.
BJ: yes a fair hit of injuries but when he's on has often been one of our best and plays with tremendous passion.
To me we want to replace these fine players with a bunch of criminals and idiots.
