For goodness sake... thanks Des for helping me to not want to watch my team for the rest of the year... we have 2 future stars of the game ready to go, and he leaves them out so we can watch Taufua completely make a fool of himself again, and watch an average back rower at centre.... honestly over it.

OHaumole s/b in there for Thommo or at least the Duck ,and Hoppa has to get Jorges wing or Jestskie's center spot ,happy with Funa at 1 .When by the way is Walker due back ?

it's not that surprising though Mick... it's been happening for 9 rounds now... we get flogged and then trot out the same side the following week and wonder why we lose again... 2 wins in 9 rounds (with 4 decent floggings involved) and Des is still sticking solid to his first choice side...

Looks like young Hopoate will make his debut. So much hype around this kid.

I highly doubt Des would've called Hopoate back into the side if he wasn't going to play him.

He could've named T-Rex, Harper or Sipley on the extended bench instead.

Bizarre selections by the Mad Professor (meant in a nice way).

Injured centre replaced by back rower. Only two regular centres selected in the 21. Last minute switch could be Hoppa at the back & Funa to centre. No real point in speculating - see what happens on the weekend. An unsettled line up could be disastrous against the Storm who rarely lose two in a row plus have their two best players returning

Surely this is game playing by Des. He has to be bonkers if he uses Gosiewski as centre. I hope this is all aimed at not showing his hand where Hopa plays because if he doesnt play him he's just ensured this team will lose. I am not saying Hopa is the great hope, I'm saying putting a forward into the backline alongside Parker is absolute folly in my opinion. This is where the team has a major problem with lack of pace and penetration. Please Des , please say this is game playing.

Tbh I’m a bit over the team list ducks and drakes. It’s gotten old. I mean teams are professional now so prepare accordingly. Not like Bellamys sitting there going “I wonder if Hoppas playing??? Ooh team lists out And he’s not starting now I don’t need to worry about him”! . It would be nice to see young Hoppa make his debut wearing the 1 or 4 etc
