Not sure if you're being deliberately obtuse but the point was that our highest paid player did nothing of note apart from a 40/20, even with our forwards having a field day.

We won the match and scored a lot of points, which is great, but to me it isn't a great sign that even in perfect conditions our halfback didn't do too much...

FMD some are hard to please.

Think that was part of the point. Rather go through an inconsistent 21 year old than to the experienced DCE. Because DCE cant create the way Shuster can. Didnt really do too much.. but i think its better that way.. the more DCE gets the ball.. the more mistakes he and we as a side make. His decision making isnt the best. Im happy for Shu to run it and DCE to just do the long kicking and tackling.. every now and then go for a run (forward not crabbing across). Support play. Do the stuff hes good at.
